What’s Up With Your URL?- Update

As I promised in my post about weird URL of my blog, I am doing just a little follow up. Here are the results in Google for the title of the article. As you can see the page itself was not indexed yet but my blog shows up nonetheless.

    Vlad - Thanx for the follow-up. This is very interesting stuff. I know that msn weighs a lot more on URL titles, but, I think you are right about the incomming links - if you establish those efficiently, you do not have anything to worry about.

    Mark, I do not discount the keywords in the url. The beuaty of WordPress is that you can configure to custom permalinks to include the keywords in url.

    I think some confusion may have come from the fact that in PPC campaigns if you have keyword in title, descrition, and display urls your CTR will be much better.

    When it comes to SEO, incoming links from an authority sites can boost your ranking quite alot. But it takes time and patience, which I tend to luck.
