Sage Blogger: Voice Blogging With Snapvine

  • TrishaLyn · 1 year ago
I've been using Snapvine on my MySpace page for almost a year... it's okay, but I prefer the way I've started doing podcasts - using a free software called Audigy and the PodPress plugin for wordpress. Good stuff though!

    TrishaLyn,

I have never done a podcast before, so I was intrigued but the option of
podcasting straight from the cell phone. I do think though that I may enjoy
podcasting more than making videos. We'll see if I stick to it... :)

    Thanks for stopping by!

hey vlad... i love cinch from blogtalkradio (i think it's cinch.blogtalkradio.com). very cool if you're into RSS :)

    Sam,

Thanks for the heads up on cinch. I think they are very similar. Snapvine voice quality like talking in the fish tank- to use Scott Jangro's words.

I may actually enjoy podcasting more than video.... Since you are a pro, which podcast service would you recommend? I notice many of you use Podango. Do they offer to host your media files? I am really interested to learn more about podcasting. Would appreciate if you can direct me to some sort of guide to podcasting.

Cool idea, Vlad. I'll try to put something together and let you know.

Thanks, Sam. I actually think that podcasting might be much easier for me on Ubuntu, comparing to video editing. Audacity should work well for recording the podcasts. Look forward to your post or podcast.

    Hi Vlad,
Just arrived here to check out how you implemented Disqus and then saw Snapvine again (visited earlier).
Proves again you're an innovative guy. Love that.
Going the check both systems out.
    Thanks.

Case, the Disqus is great. I am answering your comment straight from my
    Gmail account.

As far as Snapvine is concerned, it is really easy to use (but I think they
are limited to US customers), I can't get any good quality out of it, every
time I record something it sounds like I am in a fish tank. Thanks for
    stopping by.
