I know that sometimes memes can get boring so I did not e-mail you, just thought you will eventually notice this post. Thanks for participating!

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Hey Vlad,

Thanks for thinking of me, finally got the post up now!

Dave

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

OK Vlad, I'm all done and thanks for the tag :-) For what it's worth I think your blog is very well written and always keeps me coming back, and I love the design too, so I usually pop out of bloglines to read your posts!

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Take you time Maurice,

I should have e-mailed you but I got distracted by a few things.

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Hi Vlad,

Sorry, I was really slow to pick up on this meme, but, I promise to deliver my thoughts in the next day or so. I've never participated in one of these before either, but I will be giving this one some hard thought.

It could take a while simply because there is so much I consider wrong with my blogging ability :0)

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Hey Vlad, looks like a great meme going on. I'll take you up on it, but unfortunately it will have to be later tomorrow (today actually). I have a long drive in about 5 hours (I should be in bed) and won't be back until the evening.

I disagree that I produce better quality than you. We all have our good posts and our bad. I visit your blog on a daily basis and I don't visit bad blogs ;) In many ways you're more ahead of the game than I and you do produce good stuff.

Thanks for the plug and I'll be making my mem post soon.

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Dane,

I think this kind of meme has a potential of a mini e-book or some sort of guidelines you can offer on your blog.

Neither do i think that "5 things about me" type of meme is bad, after all it keeps the link juice flowing. But those get old.

Again thanks for tagging me.

Re: Improving My Blog and Blogging In General.

Hey Vlad,

Thanks for participating in this. I'd agree that focus is an important thing and keeping to my proposed topic is, to me, a sort of contract with my readers, not to mention strengthening the over all theme of the blog.

One thing I'm really going to do with this meme is try to use it as a device to help me with my desire to increase my post frequency, I hope most of those that participate will see it in the same light, as I think that really adds value over just a "five things you didn't know about me" type meme. Not that I think those are bad, but I'd like to see more memes that address something we can all use to improve ourselves.

BTW. This meme makes me open season now. I'll try very hard to participate in any meme which doesn't seem like it could derail my blog or violate my personal sense of what's proper.
