  • Thanks for the information. I am working on my own website and I wasn\'t sure if I should pay for search engine submission or not. The site map seems like a good idea, anything to get better results on google.

  • Your blog was found because you are using WordPress which automatically uses pinging. Pings get you into search engines faster than anything else. Sit back and enjoy the ride as WordPress does the work for you. ;-)

    I am trully honored, I have been reading your blog for some time now and never thought I would get your attention. I did learn a lot from you.

    I agree about pinging. I do think though that an article helped as well, as did Bluedot and Digg. In fact I was following the way search engines indexed that site. The first pages with my url on them were from Digg and Bluedot.

    I I don't think there is a definite answer to your question.
    Any answer your get to this questio is more or less and educated guess. Are you using Google Sitemaps? Did you promote your site via articles or PR? Thry any of these.
