Digg Just Banned Me

Oh well, I guess I have been asking for it from the very beginning. So I was not that surprised to see the message today when trying to login and add few new digg friends. From what I can gather I have broken either 7th or 8th stipulations of Digg user conduct.

    If you think you have been really naughty fair enough, though I know at least one top Digger and knowledgeable member of Bumpzee who was recently banned, and whose account is active again.

    I would try to get reinstated if you can

    I am not quite sure if I want to, unless of course my diggs will help others. As I said in the past, the only reason I joined digg was that it helped search engines to discover (new) content on my websites. BumpZee helps me in that respect. Actually I think I am getting more juice from BumpZee than I was from Digg.

    About being naughty. On the average, day having 25 friends, I use to digg about 100 stories. Is that naughty enough to get banned?

    7th and 8th seems to be about banned sites, people Digging straight affiliate links, and automated Digging and bot.

    From what I can see that isn't what you were digging, so I would drop them a message.

    When I go to Digg I pop to see what my friends have submitted, and Digg the ones I find interesting, and then pop to what my friends have Diggs, and again, just Digg stuff I find interesting.

    That isn't huge Digg volume compared, but there are people who Digg a lot more than 100 stories per day.

    I would write them a note, state you are not aware of Digging any banned sites or sites through a redirect, you don't use any form of automation, and just Digg stories you like.
    Say you are a fairly new user just learning the ropes, and can't understand why your account has been disabled.

    Digging stuff really shouldn't take up a huge amount of additional time.

    I will write them and e-mail tonight. The only reason I would stay is to help my friends out. Let see what happens.

    I am not familiar with Netscape, but I think from know one I will stick to my favorite- BumpZee.
