I don't like how the big G is playing the game so I knew it would be smart not to be dependent on them. I started out a PR 5 when I took the time to look in April. The last update it down to 4. During the first round that happened a few weeks ago it went down to a 3 and yesterday it went down to a 2. I have one advertiser that I got on my own and I occasionally write a paid review (perhaps two each month.) I'm not about to change my ways to please the big G. If they weren't such hypocrites I would have more respect for them.

Re: Are Your Ready For No-AdSense No-Adwords Day?

Just one more thing. I am as much of the internet user and they are loosing my trust. ;)

They will not be a number one SE if people begin to loose trust in them.

Re: Are Your Ready For No-AdSense No-Adwords Day?

I am not sure the update is over. However, I think it is a news worthy event.

They can change their score as much as they like. Being a publicly traded company transparency can help them a little.

Look I am the last one to worry. While I made some money in the past with TLA and reviews I did not make a killing so I am loosing nothing.

We all speculate that paid links may be the major cause. However punishment is not extended equally. Just be straight forward say "look guys you have heard we the big G do not like paid links and this is what we are going to do and this is how we are going to punish you".

99% of bloggers were not affected, you right. They are only after the to 1% to send a message ;) While that to 1% may earn the most, they probably spend the most as well.

Re: Are Your Ready For No-AdSense No-Adwords Day?

99.9% of the bloggers in the world didn't see a drop in pagerank today, I don't think why you would think this is CNN worthy.

in addition I'm not sure what message you would be trying to send?

"hey google, you aren't allowed to change your own ranking score!" doesn't make much sense.

Re: Are Your Ready For No-AdSense No-Adwords Day?

Yes if you it is only you.
