    Great idea on the Ubuntu BUMPzee community, Vlad! I'll get with Scott and see if we can get that set up soon.

    Congrats on the switch!

    Welcome to the world of freedom, Vlad :D .
    Now that you are on ubuntu. here's something that will make it even cooler -

    using beryl, you can add stuff like OS X's exposé effect and make your windows look feel much better overall.

    Thanks Pranav!

    I am still so overwhelmed. As I have written I should have gone with Ubuntu long time ago.
  • Sam Harrelson · 2 years ago
    Oddly enough, you can download Ubuntu through Microsoft.

    @Sam

    Great! I have already joined, I will also try to ad my blog but I have to figure out how to use the filtering feature on BumpZee, I would not want every single post be "polluting" the cummunity.

    I agree Ubuntu is great for certain applications but for everyday use I still prefer OSX and can't wait for Leopard in the fall

    Jason,
    Thanks for stopping by. I wish I had stayed with apple. Unfortunately I have felt behind with the 9.x OS and really would need some catching up to do. Ubuntu came as a great solution for me without a need to buy a new computer. There were few applications that I not ready to give up. So far I found a replacement for every single one with Ubuntu.

    Once you switch you don't want to go back. That's what I have found.
